FAQ

AyahSlides FAQ

Practical answers about Quran text source, slide generation, translations, and how to use the generated PowerPoint files.

What Quran text source does AyahSlides use?

AyahSlides bundles Arabic Uthmani Quran text from the Tanzil Project. The importer validates 114 surahs and 6,236 ayahs against Tanzil metadata before the data is copied into the frontend.

Does AyahSlides include translations?

No. AyahSlides currently creates slides from Arabic Quran text only. You can add translation, transliteration, or commentary in PowerPoint after download if your use case requires it.

Can I create slides for khutbahs or Islamic school lessons?

Yes. Select a surah and ayah range, choose a visual style, and download an editable PPTX file. Short passages are usually easier to read in rooms and classrooms.

Does AyahSlides call a Quran API while I use it?

No. The production frontend serves bundled JSON files for the Quran corpus, and the PPTX is generated in the browser.

Can I edit the generated PowerPoint file?

Yes. The output is a standard .pptx file, so you can change font sizes, add notes, add translations, or combine slides with an existing deck.

Can I make a full-surah deck?

The app can generate a slide for every ayah in the selected range, but very long surahs can create large decks. For presentations, shorter ranges are usually clearer.
